BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong on Wednesday called for closer economic and trade collaboration with Vietnam at "China-Vietnam Trade & Economic Cooperation" forum.

Vice Premier Liu said, Vietnam is China's fourth largest trade partner in the world, with two-way trade hitting 175 billion USD in 2022. According to the leader, China encourages and creates favorable conditions for competent enterprises to invest in Vietnam.
As part of the official visit, Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh said at the ceremony that Vietnam looks forward to strengthening cooperation with China in trade, investment, and infrastructure construction.
The forum organized by jointly organized by the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, leaders of ministries and agencies, and representatives from more than 350 enterprises of both Vietnam and China.
William Wu, managing director of TOKO Group, was invited to attend the forum, during which he had friendly exchanges with Vietnamese representatives, and his company's business entered the Vietnamese market as early as 7 years ago, he convinced that the successful holding of this forum will help TOKO business in Vietnam.
